Jane Fawcett-Hoover had a blast sharing her Buckeye memories with my daughters.

I recently had the delightful opportunity to meet Roy Roychoudhury and his two beautiful daughters, Emerson and Maeve. As a loyal Buckeye, we reminisced about The Ohio State University and about Woody Hayes and his lessons of football. All of us have childhood memories. I was 13 years old when I first met Woody shortly after my dad, Novice G. Fawcett, was named the eighth president of The Ohio State University. I loved football and Woody allowed me to attend practices. Woody was gracious and kind and his relationship with our family cemented my passion for this sport. Reading Roy’s book, The Day I Met Woody, brought back treasured times. The book is touching and teaches important lessons in an endearing and engaging way. My hope going forward is that Roy’s daughters are as proud of him as he is of them. Go Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
